A Klaus Schulze composition served live with Christoph Titz guesting on trumpet. Intriguing mixture that I couldn't resist :-)

Klaus left us with a great legacy of music, and "Deus Arrakis" is a wonderful continuation of the journey. Some of the familiar elements are there, such as typical sequences and chords. But this album also finds Klaus in a more experimental mood (e.g. the final part of "Seth"). An extraordinary end to an extraodrinary recording career of more than half a century. RIP Klaus Schulze. The latest from NxQuantize is both moody and cinematic, with burbling layers of synths bubbling up between pulsing beats. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 24, 2023
